Brooklyn

Brooklyn

It’s amazing how often I’m driving along and see a view from the road that would simply make for an awesome photo. Sometimes I pull over; but usually I’m on a highway and that’s simply not an option. So it’s one of the very few benefits of heavy traffic that I stop moving long enough to be able to roll down my window and stick the camera out.

This was taken while I was stopped dead on the BQE. The highway median is just below the frame. I had to take several shots in order to get one without a car whizzing by on the other side of the highway.

Shot with my Nikon D70 and Nikor 50mm f/1.8 lens, 1/320s at f/10.
